John has owned and operated various commercial fishing and farming enterprises.
Born and bred in country South Australia, John has been at the cutting edge of agriculture and fishery practices. He is recognised for co-facilitating Aboriginal ownership and entrepreneurship of a significant sustainable fishery, respecting and recognising both their culture and their land.
In Nebb Whisky Barrels, John leads the business operations and export responsibilities, and makes the hard stuff happen without a harsh word ever being spoken. As part of the leadership team, he brings a passion for the food and beverage industry and has a vision of Nebb brining innovation to the whisky industry through new flavours, colours and experiences in Australia.
